Cupping & Hijama Therapy
Draw out stagnation. Release deep tension. Support your body's natural detoxification.
At Sukun Wellness, we offer two distinct forms of cupping, Traditional Chinese Cupping and Hijama (Sunnah cupping), so you can choose the approach that fits your needs and preferences.
HIJAMA (SUNNAH CUPPING)
Hijama is a form of wet cupping that combines light suction with a controlled, minor incision at specific points on the body, traditionally associated with Prophetic (Sunnah) practice to draw out blood.
This service is performed for clients specifically seeking Hijama as a spiritual and physical practice, following strict hygiene and safety protocols consistent with both clinical standards and traditional guidance on timing and technique.
Commonly used for: Headaches and migraines, hypertension, high cholesterol, musculoskeletal pain, varicose veins, fibromyalgia, diabetes.

Traditional Chinese Cupping
Traditional Chinese cupping uses suction alone, no incision, no blood drawn, to lift tissue and stimulate circulation.
We offer this in two styles (Stationary and dynamic), chosen based on your condition and goals. Please note that In select cases involving blood stagnation (often presenting as sharp, localized pain) a minor, controlled incision may be used to release a small amount of stagnant blood before cupping is applied. This approach is used only when clinically indicated and will always be explained to you in advance.
Commonly used for: Muscle pain and tightness, sports recovery, colds and flus, cough and asthma.
